Avocado Salsa with Pepitas

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can (796 mL/28 oz) Muir Glen™ Organic Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 serrano chile, seeded, finely chopped (1 tablespoon/15 mL)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) sea salt or kosher salt
  • 2 avocados, peeled, pitted and diced
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) roasted and salted pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
  • Tortilla chips, as desired

Directions

  • In medium bowl, stir together all ingredients except pepitas and chips. Transfer to serving bowl; garnish with pepitas.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.
