Fire Roasted Tomato Salsa with Cilantro and Lime

Quick, easy and fresh describe this tasty fire roasted tomato salsa with cilantro and lime.

  • 1 can (796 ml/28 oz) Muir Glen™ Organic Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes, well drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (50 ml) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) coarse salt (kosher or sea salt)
  • 1 to 2 fresh jalapeño or serrano chilies, seeded, finely chopped


  • In medium bowl, stir together all ingredients.
  • Serve with tortilla chips for dipping or alongside your favourite grilled meat or Mexican meal.
